Hi fellow wumps,
We had so much fun generating a new website at the last meeting using blogger/blogspot , I have decided to make it our official web site and discontinue the old site. I particularly like the collaborative nature of this site. I have redirected the links at Reedsportonline.com to reflect this change. Eventually, I will update this new site so that the info from the old site is all contained on the new site.
A few club members have mentioned that they have conflicts with other meetings in the area on the first Tuesday of the month. I have contacted several of you and the preferred new date appears to be the second Tuesday of the month ... same time (7 p.m), same place (my home). If any of the regular members have a problem with this new meeting date, please let me know via email or by adding a comment to this post. Otherwise, starting with the August meeting, future meetings will be held on the second Tuesday of the month instead of the first Tuesday. This will make our next meeting August 14 . At this meeting we will continue the discussion of blogspot.com and will attempt to implement a counter for our website (per Heather's request).
For fun, I have implemented a new feature of Blogspot on our new website and that is a polling function. Our first poll will involve the MUGWUMP meeting night. Feel free to suggest subjects for future polls.
I will duplicate this post via an email to you all so that we are all on the same page and are aware of the changes.

Maybe we can discuss/have a poll on Craigslist - how many times have we used it? How many times did it work? How do we use it (if not everyone knows already.)
